Beyond the fact that the world knows Rafael Nadal for his achievements on the tennis court, which have positioned him as one of the best players in history, this discipline is not his only passion. He has also shown himself to be a great fan of golf, a sport in which he has participated in novice tournaments with his sister, and of high-end vehicles, with an impressive collection in his garage.
La Fiera has been on the ATP circuit for more than two decades and, on more than one occasion, in addition to having won a tournament trophy, he has also taken home an impressive luxury car. Such was the case in 2015, after winning the Mercedes Cup in Stuttgart. There he received a brand new Mercedes AMG GTS, but for Rafael Nadal it is not as comfortable as his Kia Stinger, a vehicle that he usually uses on a daily basis and belongs to the Kia Motors company, with which he maintains a very close relationship.
The Balearic tennis player’s extensive collection of high-end vehicles includes iconic brands such as Mercedes, Ferrari and Aston Martin. Nadal has two types of German classic cars in his garage: the one mentioned above, which he won at the Stuttgart Open, and a Mercedes SL500. Of the Prancing Horse he has the white 458 model, which can reach 100 km/h in 3.4 seconds, while from the British brand he has an Aston Martin DBS in metallic grey.
It is worth noting that these are not the only vehicles Rafael Nadal has in his possession, as for more than two decades he has had an agreement with Kia Motors, the South Korean company that trusted him when he was just 17 years old and was taking his first steps in professional racing. For this reason, he also has iconic models from the Asian brand, such as the Kia Proceed with GT, a Sportage SUV and the Kia Stinger.
